Full mouth reconstruction is a complex procedure that corrects the relationship between your teeth, gums, muscles, and bone. Full mouth reconstruction corrects your bite and improves your muscle tone. The result is also a gorgeous smile you’re proud to show off to everyone you meet!
Dental veneers are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored material designed to cover the front surface of teeth. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length which result in a greatly improved appearance.
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Dental implants are ideal if you have good general oral health and have lost a tooth or teeth due to periodontal disease, an injury, or some other reason. While high-tech in nature, dental implants are actually more tooth-saving than traditional bridgework since implants do not rely on neighboring teeth for support. Dental implants are so natural-looking and feeling you may forget you ever lost a tooth. Ask us about any of your dental implant questions.
At our office, we are equipped to take care of you! Because your comfort is our first concern, we are proud to offer a variety of sedation treatments. Using this, our patients may comfortably doze off and allow Dr. Barksdale to complete their dentistry services in a relaxed and quiet environment.
Many people feel anxious about visiting the dentist. If you are one of these individuals, sedation dentistry may be an excellent option. Dr. Barksdale offers two forms of Sedation Dentistry: Nitrous Oxide and Oral Sedation. Ask our staff about the benefits of Sedation Dentistry.
Conscious Sedation provides a safe, effective way to alleviate dental anxiety and provide patients with the treatment they need.
Conscious Sedation makes use of a prescription medication that induces a drowsy, relaxed feeling. This is an oral medication and no intra-venous needles are used. Due to the relaxing effects of the medication, patients must have a friend or family member bring them to the dental office and return them home. During Conscious Sedation, the patient’s vital signs are monitored. Although patients are not completely unconscious, many patients sleep through their dental appointment. Few patients have any memory of their treatment.
